My name is Minna Nousiainen. I grew up in Finland, moving to the United States in 1991 with my mother, two sisters, and my first Boxer, Mafi. I began training for the breed ring in 1989, working with a kennel in Finland. Once living here I bred Mafi, producing Ringo, my first Sport dog. In 1996, I imported Flirtin Ilona (Kia) from a Finnish working Boxer kennel. In High School, I worked at the famous Bentbrook Boxer Kennel in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Later, I worked as a groomer and kennel assistant before opening my own Grooming and Boarding kennel in Menasha. I also train and title client dogs, pet dogs, and am certified in animal Reiki
Clubs I am affiliated with are the United States Boxer Association, Winnegamie Dog Club, and the President and Founder of Midwest Working Boxers, established in 2008.
At Boxnen Boxers, I have been breeding European Boxers since 1991, intending to balance structure, beauty, and temperament, with working drive and ability. You can accomplish anything with a good working Boxer.
I live and raise puppies in the Fox Valley area of Wisconsin. We use Biosensor training, and Boxnen puppies get exposed to almost everything – elevators, tarps, tunnels, different surfaces, camping, and swimming if weather permits, etc. My Boxer puppies socialize with children and other pets, they receive an early foundation to obedience, are crate trained, learn independence, and are practically housebroken before they leave. Raising sound Boxer puppies is my passion and way of life.
I am are one of the very few BHOT (Breeder, Handler, Owner-trained) Boxer breeders in the country.
